Woodland Mulch opened its doors in 1997 in the small town of Kidron, Ohio. Bark Mulch was the only product available. Woodland gradually added a variety of mulches by 2000, as well as Screened Topsoil. In 2011, a location was opened in Wooster, Ohio. More products such as Stone, Gravel, Compost, and Animal Bedding had been added to the company. In 2021 I, Ian Coblentz, purchased the Wooster location from my uncle Paul and Woodland Mulch changed its name to Woodland Earth, reflecting the wider range of products and services introduced at that time. Products such as Garden Sheds, Patio Furniture, Swing Sets, Barrel Saunas, Planters, and Pre-Cast Retaining Walls. Today, Mulch and Topsoil are still our #1 products.
